Join us for a relaxed morning exploring a carefully curated collection of handmade ceramics, original paintings, candles, jewellery, textiles, homewares and other unique creations from talented members of the Deep Blue Ceramics community and invited local makers. Every stall represents hours of creativity, skill and passion, and every purchase directly supports a local artist or small business.

More than just a market, this is an opportunity to meet the people behind the work, hear the stories that inspired each piece and experience the warmth and connection that make our creative community so special. Whether you're searching for a one-of-a-kind gift, something beautiful for your home or simply looking for an enjoyable way to spend your Sunday morning, we'd love to welcome you.

Creative Clay Retreat – Margaret River 2026

Deep Blue Ceramics invites members and friends to join a special Creative Clay Retreat hosted by Jolene Hewison (River Ceramics) in the stunning Margaret River region of Western Australia.

This fully immersive retreat offers a rare chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore clay in a nurturing, inspiring environment. Surrounded by forest, lakes, and vineyards, participants will enjoy creativity, connection, and relaxation in equal measure.

Highlights

• 4 nights, 5 days at Tanah Marah, a peaceful lakeside retreat surrounded by native bushland

• Daily workshops with Jolene exploring handbuilding, wild clay, sculpture, pit firing, and creative surface decoration

• Optional creative sessions, time for rest, and curated local experiences (vineyards, nature walks, etc.)

• Fully catered accommodation in shared king-size chalets with ensuite rooms

Location
Tanah Marah, Margaret River (3 hours south of Perth or via flights to Busselton–Margaret River Airport). Transfers available.

Investment 
From $2,650–$3,650 per person, (depending on accomodation choice) plus optional extras. Includes all workshops, accommodation, catering, materials, and postage of finished works within Australia. 50% Deposit is due to confirm the booking Remaining Payment due 28 August 2026.

Travel to and from is not included, and must be self arranged.

Jolene Hewison – River Ceramics
A Margaret River–based ceramic artist and educator, Jolene is known for her expressive, place-connected approach to clay and teaching. All workshop delivery and logistics will be managed by Jolene and her team.
